After
years of careful planning and construction,
Salta’s Finest Lodge is complete!
In
Early March 2008, Estancia Chacu (meaning
“hunting place” in Inga language) will
be ready to accept eager clients from
the America’s and Europe. Outfitter Floro
Lavalle spared no expense and meticulously
planned every detail of the 20,000 square
foot lodge. Estancia Chacu rests on a
scenic hillside on over 12,000 private
acres. It offers 9 bedrooms, pleasant
softly lit dining areas, welcoming cocktail
areas, shaded patios and outdoor fountains.
The architecture and décor rings
of old Style European design, but with
the modern conveniences like telephone,
internet access, cellular service all
modern amenities you would be accustomed
to at home.
Before
dinner after a hard day of shooting and/or
fishing you will relax in luxury of the
lodge. You will be served fine Argentinean
wines, ice cold Cerveza, or non-alcoholic
beverages of your choice in preparation
of fine authentic Argentinean cuisine,
prepared by a master chef trained in Argentina
and Europe. I encourage my clients to
spend an extra day in the city of Salta
touring the historical sites like Jesuit,
Dominican and Franciscan. In addition
I suggest that you tour the local wineries
and get a flavor for the unique culture
in this area. You will quickly see why
Salta is commonly referred to “Salta the
beautiful”. The Salta province is one
of the best kept wing shooting secrets
in the world. With its central location
in South America it has been named the
Dove Hunting Mecca of the world. With
drives to the fields no more than 30 minutes
and in most cases less than 10, you will
quickly be on the birds. Let us be your
proud host and see what our new lodge
and the beautiful province of Salta have
to offer. I can assure you Salta won’t
be a secret much longer!
