El Rocio is the sister lodge of La Macarena, and is just a short drive away from the La Macarena, and still only 90 minutes away from the Cordoba airport. El Rocio is often used as an overflow lodge when large groups come to hunt with Paco.

Like La Macarena, El Rocio is a converted farm house and is surrounded by hundreds of thousands of acres of grain fields, and is truly right in the heart of Dove central. This location allows a short drive to and from the airport and very short drives to the fields and in many cases, hunters walk from the lodge to the hunting fields. El Rocio is also just a few minutes away from one of the largest Dove roosts in all of Argentina, so all you have to do is walk outside and you will immediately see an uncountable number of doves traveling to and from their feeding grounds.

The lodge sleeps 16 hunters in 8 bedrooms, each with a bath. Each spacious bedroom has heating and air conditioning and a pair of comfortable twin beds.

El Rocio has become so popular that Paco and staff have recently upgraded the lodge and added a detached great room and spacious lounge area with DVD and high definition TV. You will find plush leather sofa and chairs, beautiful tiled floors, large brick fireplace and large fully equipped bar.

After a busy day of hunting you may want to relax in the lounge, soothe your tired muscles in the Jacuzzi, or even get a fantastic massage from the masseuse that will be available each night of your stay.

Again like the La Macarena, each evening after your hunt you will be served fine Argentinean wines and superb meals prepared masterfully by Paco’s cooking staff and have all your needs attended to by your host.
